The Curriculum

Agencies engaging a Fitch Coaching Project can expect the engagement to involve:

  • Facilitating learning
  • Gathering and giving feedback (360)
  • Identifying development opportunities (pre-work assessments)
  • Building awareness
  • Facilitating solutions by asking powerful questions
  • Setting goals and making action plans
  • Supporting and encouraging over the long term
  • Monitoring progress and holding others accountable

A typical coaching engagement is about 6 months in duration and is made up of three major phases.

Individual Leadership Development and Coaching:

Phase 1:Project goals intake call, and completion of client DiSC and LPI 360 or Culture Index assessments.
Phase 2:Regular, bi-weekly (two per month), half-hour coaching sessions with each leader, identified by the Client for the program, via Zoom. At the end of the 6-month period, the Client will be provided a summary report of the Leadership Development and Coaching engagement.
Phase 3:Provide Final Report to include hard copy and review with client via Zoom.

Team Leadership Development & Coaching – Onsite:

Phase 1:Project goals intake call, and completion of client DiSC and LPI 360 or Culture Index assessments for leadership team.
Phase 2:Onsite learnings to include:

  • Appreciative inquiry, which is a strengths-based, positive approach to leadership development and organizational change. The appreciative approach discovers what is working well and partners those strengths with personal and organizational vulnerabilities. The learning outcome is a strategic framework for setting goals, problem-solving, and relationship building.
  • Coaching conversations
  • Coaching discovery sessions that include a general overview of the DiSC and LPI360 reports, and identifying the specific goals of the coaching relationship.
  • Other specific leadership coaching skills/topics as needed

Phase 3:Provide Final Report to include hard copy and review with client via Zoom.
