Melissa Coons is responsible for direction, oversight, and support for Membership/Subscription Services and professional Associations managed by the firm. She is also the organization’s lead claims review specialist. Her background and knowledge of ambulance billing rules and regulations allow her to provide expert analysis of coding and billing compliance for both ground and air medical claims.

Prior to her current position, she served in as assistant director with operational oversight of an ambulance billing company. She has coordinated multiple teams on a national level to accomplish multifaceted, high level, time sensitive projects. Her project management skills are extensive including multiple aspects of accounts receivable and payables.

The expanse of her organizational management and expertise includes benefit coordination, payroll processing, and human resources related functions for a health group of more than 25 offices. Ms. Coons received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville Missouri.
